The Big Texan - Cabins & Wagons

We stayed in the Airstream, communication and check in was super easy and we got there later than anticipated. Everything was clean, it was a cute experience.

Loved the wagon. Need a mirror on a stand in the wagon so that more than one person can get ready at a time versus just having the mirror only in the bathroom.

The big Airstream was disappointing. There is not adequate air conditioning for Summer guests. It’s smelly, discolored and underwhelming. There was a random loose board next to the toilet. A huge disappointment after previously staying in one of BT tiny cabins. This one needs an extreme makeover. It was not fun or restful.

The wagons are super cute but so close to the highway it is difficult to sleep with all the noise. The wagons were roomy and the bath house was clean.

Great little cabin...beds not comfortable at all. The shower door did not glide very well. The hot water heated up really fast! There was only AC units in the main cabin and primary bedroom...so the second room that my kids stayed in was stuffy, especially if the door was closed. The TVs did not work...either of them, as they were smart TVs, and required internet service, which they did not have currently (apparently it's in the works). The pool was nice, in addition to the playground and jump pad for the kids. The limo ride to The Big Texan steakhouse was fun, too. Overall, not too bad, especially for just one night.

We stopped in the vintage airstream. It was definitely vintage and even had a vintage smell. Apart from a few lights not working and a fairly inadequate ac unit, we enjoyed the experience

It was great overall, the only downside was that the internet was really bad but since we only stayed the night it wasn’t detrimental

It was a great place! The staff were very friendly and helpful!

We started in the covered wagon. It was very comfortable and a nice change from a regular hotel room. We had a private bathroom about 20 feet from the wagon
