We liked everything about this property. The location is just great if you want to explore the central part of the city by walk. We had a corner room, there was a lot of light in the room. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. It had a s mall kitchen with all appliances (even dish washer!). It had a washing machine and a dryer in the bathroom. It was our first hotel in New Zealand and at 10:30 am at the day of the check-out the cleaner and the receptionist came to our room and informed that we are late and additional charges may apply. Honestly, we have not paid any attention to the check-out hours and assumed they are the same like everywhere in Asia, but NO, NZ surprised us 😁 10 am is a standard for the check-out. We apologized for our miss, packed quickly and left the room close to 11 am. Thanks to the personell, they didn’t apply any additional charges.

Had to reserve parking ahead. So challenging when you are coming from a long flight and getting feel for left side driving. Also, no windows that open.
