Central Inn Taupo

Good and clean. We could take our dog and we didnt have to go upstairs. As there arent any, to carry our luggage. Nice the dog could have a grass area to be walked on. Good there was a porch and there were tables and chairs outside and a bench either stools inside.

The fridge door rubbing on the carpet and there was only a fan for cooling the room which in the heat in summer makes it a bit uncomfortable and we slept with windows open.

I loved it...parking right next to the room. Bed was comfy. Already had a shower before coming there so didn't use the shower. Facilities were sufficiently good.

A lot of noise coming from next door unit moving things around or in and out of their van...not sure what it was, but was quite loud...during the evening after they returned from being away, but gradually quieted down. Then again in the morning....otherwise I did enjoy my stay...gave me a chance to organize boxes of my stuff before moving them into storage which was satisfying for me.

Central and close to shops. Clean with a separate bedroom. Helpful staff. It’s a self check in.

Only one sink located in the bedroom, used for bathroom hygiene and for any other needs including filling coffee jug coffee or to clean utensils. No sick in bathroom or kitchen area. The property offers to clean your dishes by placing them in a bin and leaving it outside for them to pick up. We only stayed one night but it would have been terribly inconvenient to have dishes washed elsewhere. We were still packing up and about to check out, when a man came by to ask if he could pick up the used towels, which I thought was a bit rude.

Inly about 7mins walk from the centre It had a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster

It was very hot and the fan had no power…. Couldn’t go to sleep with the windows open. But not a biggie

Great location only short walk to town. Lockbox entry with text message communication.
