Close to the beach and restaurants in the area.

Quiet, peaceful seaside neighborhood near the airport. Grocery store within walking distance. Friendly staff and shuttle service. The room was new and clean. Softer, warm room lighting is my only suggestion.

I stay in this hotel for an overnight before I take another flight back home as there was no direct flight from Santorini. So it was a plus point for us to stay in this place as they offered a free transport service to and from the airport and the staff came to collect us at the requested times. The area is quiet and convenient with local supermarket and cafe and restaurant and nice that it’s close to the beach with only 5 minutes walk. The room was clean and tidy although it was slightly smaller than I saw in the advertised pictures in Expedia and there was no sofas to relax like it was showing in the advert when I booked it. There was no hair drier either so I had to dry my hair without drier.

No elevador.

We had one night before our flight and didn’t want to stay at an airport hotel. This was perfect- clean spacious room with a balcony, walking distance to beach and restaurants and great free shuttle to airport the next morning. We had stayed in Athens for a week so this was a nice change of pace.

It is complicated because there is no lift or elevator. We were spending one night on our way to the airport, and had a ton of luggage. They let us leave it in the lobby, because the front door is locked all the time. Not to the other customers though. We also did not qualify for free airport transfer because our flight was leaving at 6:30 am. Long before the service begins. The room was super clean. It was also a really great price compared to other hotels in the area, and is very close to the Athens airport. We only got one key, that opened the front door, and it was worrisome that you if you locked yourself out there was no backup to get another key. There is no staff on premise. They make arrangements ahead of time for you to check in. It was a fantastic location to walk to the beach - about 5 minutes - and there was a wonderful row of great Greek eateries, that we used twice. We arrived at 10:00 am from a cruise ship, and the earliest they would let us check in was 2:00 pm. Luckily, the weather was great and the yard is lovely with plenty of lawn chairs and tables and we laid in the sunshine until they checked us in. I would not stay here again, because we cannot handle that much luggage without a lift anymore. If you are brave of heart, it might be a quaint, charming and economical place to stay for the right person.

The room was beautiful but 3 flights up so pack a light bag.

I spent only a few hours between flights, but was very happy with the place and the service. Donald picked me (and others) up at the airport, drive us to the hotels and checked us all in and into our rooms. He then called a taxi cab owner and arranged for him to pick me up at 4:00 am the following day and take me back to the airport. He gave all of the guests his recommendation for a nice restaurant on the sea-front promenade, with instructuons on how to get there. Overall, Donald was a terrific host and assistant

Sun Day Apartments is perfectly situated 15 minutes from the Athens airport. We chose this lodging because they offer free transportation to and from the airport. It worked out great. Shuttle was waiting for us at the airport and the driver got us into the apartment, answered our questions, and suggested restaurant options for dinner. Neighborhood is very residential and downtown and water access is a 5-10 minute walk away. Local markets & shops are a great last minutes souvenir shopping option too. Room was spacious. Extremely clean and quiet. Giant shower (by European standards) that didn’t flood the bathroom floor. Worth the 1 night stay.
