The downstairs bed was very uncomfortable Had issue with leaking shower

No hot water, coffeemachine didnot work, internet desastrous. No possibility to clean. No mirror to shave.

Not very much it’s meant to sleep up to 10 people the dining table only 4 chairs. The showers didn’t work we had the use of 1 shower for all of us . We had a message the day before arrival explaining they had a problem and was sorting it but looking over previous reviews they’d had this problem for some time. Bags of rubbish left outside the front of the property looked like it had been there for a while discussing . The house smelt of weed ie possibly cannabis . Bath was left dirty tiles were cracked and an hazard which incidentally the only bathroom that had a working shower . No plug for the kitchen sink we had to use a sponge to hold the water in. No cleaning products . No mirrors in the bathrooms for the men to shave.

House was clean, spacious, we all had a great time

There was a lot of black bags of rubbish left in the garden and fag butts and Everytime we tried to make toast the toaster would trip the electric

Very little to like

First impression was the litter all around the front of the house and the full rubbish bins. Second thing to assault you was the smell as you entered the property. A mix of the obviously damaged sewage pipe to the rear of the house and the smell of cooking and lack of cleaning. The third issue was the lights in the main bathroom didn't work! This was immediately raised with the company who were managing the property they suggested it might be a blown bulb despite the bathroom having spotlights i replied it was obviously the drawstring switch that was faulty. No further response was received. We spent a small fortune on cleaning and scented candles to try and cover the stench of Sewage! Windows on house looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Two bathrooms in property but only one could be used at a time! The plumbing is obviously substandard if one bathroom is in use then there is no water pressure in the other bathroom. If someone runs cold water elsewhere in the house while you are using the shower, you run the risk of being scalded! The property generally was not clean!! We were going to remove some cobwebs but the poor quality of the workmanship on the property made us think these cobwebs may actually be load bearing! Tiling in bathrooms poorly done ,unsealed and ungrouted.

The location worked well for us and the house was clean and was a really good size for our party - 5 good double bedrooms. Realistically, only one car can park on the front, but there was plentiful parking in nearby side streets.

When we arrived the house was absolutely freezing as the boiler was off, with no instructions anywhere( it warmed up well once we managed to turn it on though) The showers were both unbearably scorching hot dribbles and were unusable (no way to change the temperature (maybe on the boiler(?)but no instructions) and we had to wash hair in sinks and in the bath) and the mattresses and pillows were extremely basic. The kitchen equipment was sparse and mismatched- no wine glasses (just champagne flutes)an odd collection of mugs, no bread knife etc

A beautiful spacious 5 bedroom house located close to the town centre. Excellent value for money we had a fantastic stay for the 2 days with family. Although we had a small issue with one of the bath rooms , the staff were very attentive and fixed it swiftly. We would have loved to stay longer but we had to come back for work. Will definitely come back to this place next time😎
