Location was good

It said 2 sofa beds which turned out to be only one disappointment at this as one person ended up sleeping on the floor I know there was enough beds but one of the rooms was occupied by a young man the rest was ladies who felt it inappropriate to stay in the room with the boy

We like it

The room was fairly clean, but there was a noticeable smell, which I believe came from the carpet. One major inconvenience was that we had to go to a different part of the city to pick up the keys, and return them there at the end of the stay. This made check-in and check-out quite uncomfortable, especially when carrying luggage. The location was average – not too far from the main attractions, but not ideal either. Overall, it was an okay stay for one or two nights, but there are definitely a few things that could be improved

Convenient for visiting family in the area. Nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. Bedding and towels nice. Heating definitely worked - boiling hot when we went in, turned it off! Would use again 👍

TV had strange colour in top half - made people look dead 😳 but their arms and hands looked ok! Stairs were creaky.

Unfortunately, the heating was governed, so we had no heating we had a 92 year-old with us and was very cold

Our second stay here now, and it's been a perfect base for our family visit. With two children in tow, it's great to have the space and not be under each other feet. Couldn't fault the communication from the hosts! Very quick responses and couldn't do enough for us. 10/10. There are two lovely open parks within walking distance from the accommodation (Devenport and Blockhouse), which both have play parks and lovely areas to walk. Devonport also has a little café. There's a chippy on the next street and other food shops only 10mins walk, too. We walked to the Barbican one day in the sun, and it was about 4.5km. Steady and scenic. We also caught the ferry back later and got off at Royal William Yard (only £3-4, can't remember exactly, sorry). There are places to walk, swim, drink, eat, and a cute market on Sundays.

The only slight downside is that the local houses must be a favourite spot for workers to rent out as there are a lot of vans on the streets. We didn't take a car, so we didn't have to worry about getting a space, but it is full! Despite how busy it looked though, we never suffered from noise issues, etc. It was nice and quiet.

The property was very clean and rooms enough for the family.
