The bed was clean and comfortable

lack of facilities, the place wasn't very clean, got a cup out of the cupboard had to wash it as it was dirty,the salt container had spillage stains over it which had been left, no complimentary tea coffee, there was no hot water at all, including the shower. so pleased I was only booked in for one night before moving on to my next destination so put up with it.

The smell, the bed the freezing temperatures as the host has no idea how to set his Hive thermostats to ensure his guests comfort. The hosts attitude when I contacted him with issues, His lies when I requested a refund. Avoid this host like the plague he is a thief and a con man. I look forward to exposing him in court

Just really cosy everything we needed.

Has absolutely everything you would need. The bed was super comfy and i loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The cottage was also very clean!

Parking

everything. was contacted at 6am on day of stay for a request of £100 security deposit to be paid directly into hosts personal bank account. I requested to pay it via booking.com or PayPal and the host wouldn't budge. In the end we weren't sent check in details so couldn't stay. I tried to seek help from booking.com on the day but never got a response. Now I've been notified I may get a 'no show' charge. If that happens I won't be using this site any longer as I don't feel protected or supported as a consumer. We were left with no choice but to travel back home at 10pm, which was an hour's journey, and I've not been refunded either
