Host & Stay - Greens Yard House

Brilliant location. Biscuits, teabags, coffee. 2 bathrooms. Spacious living area and lovely nicely finished rooms

Not enough toilet rolls. Lighting in bedrooms a bit dim when getting ready. Back yard could be improved...swept and weeded. Showers are a bit 'tight' for larger people

The house was spacious with comfortable beds and it was very quite and right in the heart of Whitby. Would certainly stay here again.

Just a few niggles. There were cobwebs in some celling areas,the top bedroom toilet seat was comming off. Just little touches like having dishwasher tablets,sponges and dish cloths and washing up liquid would of been helpful. The back yard need a sweep and tidy up but overall there was very little really to complain about other than a few issues.

Location was excellent. It was spacious and warm. The beds were comfortable with clean sheets and towels.

Shower in the first floor bathroom was a bit temperamental. Also only 1 toilet roll between 4 of us so we bought additional rolls and left them at the property. There was no washing up liquid and an empty box of dishwasher tablets which was disappointing.

Excellent central location. Nice and clean

It had 3 bedrooms but the living space wasn't enough for 6 adults. The dining table could hardly fit the space for all 6 of us to sit around and there wasn't enough sofa space for 6

The house was clean and comfortable, only a few yards from the old part of Whitby. The beds were very comfortable. Although we ate out and only made cups of tea the kitchen seemed well equipped.

Although wifi was offered in the notes it was a very erratic signal, which meant that we could not watch TV or use our tablets. As we don't spend a lot of time out in the evening this was very disappointing. I did have a messaged conversation with the owners about this but the problem was not resolved. I also suggest that a little attention to the yard space (geraniums in planters, a spot of paint on the walls?) would make a massive difference.

Lovely property. Was very modern and comfortable and location was perfect . Right in the centre

Parking is always the issue in Whitby , unfortunately this property didn’t come with parking but we knew that before booking

Back yard was not very inviting and garden furniture not enough for the amount of people or clean.
