Location is perfect being able to walk Into Whitby in 10 minutes a pub and fish and chip shop 2 minutes away and views of Whitby just across the road couldn’t ask for more. It’s ideal for a dog and children lots of nice walks and a children’s play area at rear of the property.

This is not a criticism but one of our party is a wheelchair user and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were perfect also entry to the property but as she couldn’t come upstairs to the lounge and kitchen she was a bit cut off we were very lucky with the weather so able to eat in the garden but it would be a bit isolating if the weather was bad.she also couldn’t use the shower as it was in a bath but she thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. Maybe a small TV in there would be nice.

Plenty of parking and just a short walk to town

We couldn't get the bottom oven to work. Some instructions would have been useful.

Size of property, location and overall quite clean in main areas.

No mattress protectors on 2 of the beds - 1 had a very small sheet so it was uncomfortable and worry re hygiene. Despite raising the issue with host, communication was poor and not resolved in timely manner. Lots of dust underneath the beds. No hand soap provided in 1 of the bathrooms.

"Location very good easy access to town centre, arrival details a concern 4 hours before arrival"

Location ideal for attractions and just far enough away for quiet and good nights sleep. Easy walk into centre of town. Festive market was an unsuspected bonus.

Directions and information for key collection details caused concern due to policy of sending details four hours before due arrival time.
