Host & Stay - Dale End

Comfortable beds, spacious, clean, modern bedrooms and bathrooms. Good location

Quite a small living area for 4 people.

The cottage was pleasantly decorated and the beds were very large and comfy

The kerb appeal of the property is very disappointing, the front door needs either replacing or painting there were weeds growing all around the front and back door, the little area outside at the back had not been swept and the windows inside and out were dirty. I also picked up a cushion off the settee to move it and there were a pair of socks behind the cushion so obviously had not been cleaned properly and one of the chopping boards in the cupboard was filthy.

Loved the house, was quirky and clean. Nice little touches, soap, shower gel, tea towel and cloth and dish washer tablets. Very quiet even though on the road. Access was very easy, all information was provided.

The sofa needs replacing. It has wheels on the front and if you don't sit directly at the back it tips slightly. Could have done with an egg slice to get eggs out of the pan. One frying pan needs replacing

Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Great facilities in the kitchen. Beds were really comfortable. Good shower and toiletries provided. Great location - walking distance to town.

Nothing. Everything was excellent. A starter pack of logs for the fire would have been a really good idea. Maybe a dishcloth as tea towel was provided but nothing to wash dishes or wipe down sides in kitchen.

Location/comfortable beds/good bath and shower. Better than staying in a hotel.

Sofa and chairs were uncomfortable. bar stools were unstable. Would have been nice to have a few extra things in the kitchen like salt/pepper/oil. Sent text to hosts about using the log burning stove in the lounge but didn't get a reply.

Everything was fab, cosy, warm, comfortable. Beds were excellent, bathrooms super, lots of hot water. No issues to report.

Location to Golf Club

The cottage was well set up with lots of internal space for our trip. The bedrooms we large and along with the bathrooms they made out stay so much nicer. It was a shame the log burner sting was broken and therefore did not really work, on Host and Stay website it also said we had a washer - yet there was not. Would I stay again? No - as there was no WiFi (which for me is essential), no washing machine, a little care and attention on their log burner would make so much difference.
