Naxian Serenity Suites

The good points are few. I liked the view - it’s what I came for - and the little veranda is a pleasant place to see it. The location, slightly back from the main village, is quiet. I thought the elderly cleaning lady was quite sweet.

Maybe the other apartments are splendid, but the ‘sea view suite’ is nothing like the promotional pictures, and the facilities are not as they are listed. Seating area? There isn’t a single chair inside, let alone a sofa or sofa bed. No dining area (besides the small veranda).The kitchen facilities consist of a rusty plug-in hob and a battered fridge. Presumably the saucepan is the ‘tea/coffee maker’. There’s no basin in the ‘bathroom’ - it’s in the bedroom. I never saw an alarm clock or mosquito net, or a radio. The wifi is almost useless. The TV is a small thing stuck high on a wall where there are no comfortable place to watch it. The apartment was obviously spruced up for the publicity photos. In reality the place has no style or comfort. It soon becomes clear that the decor is not quaintly rustic, just cheapskate: curtain tracks made of sticks, bedside tables from crudely hacked tree trunks. I also found that, in spite of Grannie’s efforts, the apartment felt dirty. The main bedroom mattress, in particular, seemed dusty, and it affected my lungs. Half way through my six day stay I decided I could stick it no longer, and moved out. I am mystified by the positive reviews, and can only think they refer to other apartments in the building. Choose carefully!

Le calme absolu, la propreté, la décoration très apaisante, les 5 minutes à pieds pour trouver la plage et les restos. La gentillesse des propriétaires, aux petits soins. Et pour ceux qui déplorait qu'il n'y ai pas de jacuzzi, il faut lire les annonces, le mien était sans mais moins cher évidemment ! J'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Nous avons passé une nuit à Naxian Serenity Suites. L'Hôte est adorable et le logement est calme, propre et bien équipé. Nous recommandons!

L'anglais était un peu approximatif.

It was good value for money, staff were nice and location was brilliant. The views were also lovely.

The pictures on booking.com were misleading. We thought we would have access to a jacuzzi but we didn’t and only one apartment has one. We thought there would be a wellness centre where we could have a massage but we could find nothing there. There were no saucepans in the kitchen to cook with.

Very near to pristine beaches. Clean and modern interiors. Yanis, our caretaker, took great care of us. He was super kind and always available if we needed something.

It was quiet, beach was only 5 minute walk and all other amenities close by! The owners especially Gianni go over and above to make your stay perfect. The apartments are a good size, and cleaned daily.

on the booking site it is a bit misleading! There weren’t as many amenities as it stated. Hot tub is only available in one villa.
