Sumitra is een vrij nieuw knus kleinschalig hotel op een super locatie in Sanur. De kamers zijn prachtig en ruim, wij kregen na een week een update naar een sky villa en die was fantastisch. De mensen die er werken zijn zonder uitzondering lief en behulpvol. Het eten was voortreffelijk, prima chef kok!

De sky villa was in de nacht erg warm.

The beachfront location at Sanur is excellent. The large infinity pool overlooking the beach is a real highlight, and the Flow restaurant opening directly onto it creates a lovely view across the water. All staff were warm and welcoming — special mention to Trisna at Flow restaurant whose upbeat energy brightened every interaction, and to Noni, a trainee who greeted us with genuine warmth on arrival. Our first floor ocean view room was lovely, and we appreciated the buggy rides offered by staff to our room.

The resort complex is relatively new so established shade trees are lacking — the sun glare around the pool area is intense. Some room finishing details were disappointing at this price point — gaps behind the bath and missing grout in corner tiles. The front desk phone required multiple attempts to get through at times. The spa pricing was steep; a 90-minute massage at 1.2 million rupiah after discount felt premium without matching incentives offered at comparable properties.

Ein herausragendes Hotel am schönen Strand von Sanur. Etwas kleiner als die anderen Häuser in der Nähe; dafür deutlich familiärer. Und das spürt man zu jeder Zeit während des Aufenthaltes. Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Toller Poolbereich. Sehr gutes und jederzeit aufmerksames Personal. Herausragendes à la carte Frühstück. Besonders zu erwähnen ist aber das gute Management und hier an erster Stelle Frau Sri. Sie hat unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht und sich umfassend persönlich um uns gekümmert. Sehr empathisch und gleichzeitig sehr professionell. Zudem hat sie uns einen sehr persönlichen Wunsch erfüllt. Dafür möchten wir auf diesem Weg noch einmal herzlich Danke sagen. Das Hotel kann stolz auf so gutes Personal sein. Das macht schließlich den Unterschied aus. Erwähnen möchten wir auch noch Yoga. Er hat uns auf einer vom Hotel organisierten Tour begleitet und betreut. Und in so jungen Jahren wirklich hervorragend. Sehr eloquent. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hoffentlich kann er sich im Sumitra beruflich noch weiter entwickeln.

Wir haben Kleinigkeiten direkt besprochen. Nichts hat den Gesamteindruck verändert.

Von Ankunft bis Abreise hatten wir einen sehr Angenehmen Urlaub! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Anlage wirkt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Kleinen Extras, wie die kostenlose Nutzung der paddle Bikes, rundet das Gesamtpaket ab. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden stets wieder kommen!

Rooms were lovely and comfortable; hubby loved the big bath being tall and being able to lie in it. The room facilities were great, and the bed was so comfy.

Having more hangers in the wardrobes would be good but this is an easy fix.
