Tembaga Luxe Villa - The Perfect Getaway

Amazing place!

The monkeys come to visit . They stole some Of our food . However others in our group really enjoyed them visiting

Secluded, great for a getaway to relax and chill

Entrance was a bit dangerous with the bike (according to my wife, I had no issues)

The only thing I can really highlight is the willingness of the villa staff to try to make our stay minimally comfortable. The rooms look cute but that is all

Everything else. Ignoring the fact that the villa is 45 mins away by foot (and not 10 mins as falsely advertised in booking), this place has been the WORST experience we've had in 1 month of travelling around Indonesia in relatively good/luxurious villas and hotels and it has a SERIOUS problem with security (mind your belongings!). To be fair, and besides the lizard invasion we had in the roof of our 1st villa, we liked the place so much that we decided to extend our stay by 1 day. From that moment onwards hell started. We moved to a 2nd villa and our suitcases were moved there by the staff once the room was ready and while we were doing some sightseeing. We returned in the evening and the villa seemed to be alright. We left for dinner, locked the villa and when we came back we realized that someone had been there in our absence (both doors open). We checked inside and discovered that there was hair in bed which was not ours (we both have curly long hair and the hair there was straight and short). The bedsheets were filthy and had blood and spots everywhere (I will upload pics in other platforms). We complained to the villa management and instead of helping us, they accused us of having stayed there without us remembering it (all whatsapps available) so the spots and blood were meant to be ours. We even had to send them pics of our own legs because Farsight Management (and Ketut) said that the blood was coming from our injuries, caused by the motorbikes we had rented (it goes without saying we had no wounds...). Very late at night, a staff member came to change our bedsheets, but the new ones were also heavily spotted, when they should be immaculate. We decided to ignore it and go to sleep. A few hours after, a noise woke us up. There was a mouse in the bathroom. My partner tried to kill it with a knife we found in the kitchen but he couldn't. We closed the bathroom and waited until next day to complain to the villa management and ask for compensation.

I loved this place. It was very quiet, beautiful view and nature, nicely furnished and good contact. I would stay there again. Thank you!

I coffee Maschine would have been nice.

Wonderful Villa, hosts are beautiful people, out of town but a short 10min ride to town, choices of restaurants in walking distance. ♥️

Nothing to mention. Outdoor Air rack for swimming would be helpful 😊

The villa is located in the middle of padi fields, a bit isolated from the hustle of Ubud city center which was very relaxing and offered a nice view to wake up to! The beds were super comfortable and the pool was perfect for a morning dip.

For a caffeine addict like me, the fact that there was no coffee nor tea provided in the morning was the only thing missing!
