Great all round

Excellent service and lovely staff

Quiet. Feels private. Aircon is cold. Clean (other than some white fungus growing out the bathroom wall on the lower part in front of the toilet bowl). Bed is comfy. Had good sleep here. Internet connection was good. Nice to dip in the pool with your partner and have a good chat. Breakfast was delicious. Loved their sourdough toast. You have to remember to book breakfast in the room the day before. Otherwise you would have to take a short bike ride to their restaurant Paddle Up - don’t forget to collect breakfast vouchers from the reception.

Not many shops nearby on foot but that’s okay because getting a grab bike is easy and convenient to go places. (Batu Bolong, Canggu’s happening street, is a short bike ride from here) Wish water pressure of shower was stronger. Pool water was super cold and the water massage/bubble function stops at 5pm. They won’t turn it back on for you if you wanna take a dip after that, which is quite a put off actually.

Very good location, the swimming pool was perfect, we enjoyed to stay there. The air conditioning is good.

But we took more than 2 hours to find the villa. We tried to call several times the staff but nobody has answered. Hopefully few people around the area helped us, we finally found the location. Must give more information about the location, more details.

the pool was nice and rooms were big

the property is advertised as 3 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed. what was not clear was that the sofa bed was not in an actual room, it was in a sheltered area beside the pool so not great considering we booked the villa for the extra bed and it couldn't be used as there were so many bugs and mosquitoes around. mirror in bedroom or bathroom would be good

When I arrived I realized I didn’t have enough cash on me and the property staff was kind enough to let me pay the day after. Thank you! But read below for more hehe. The location is not too far from the main streets of Canggu and overall quiet. There were occasional construction noises but very faint and there’s also mosque nearby. The property has just a bare minimum of what you need: beds, AC, hot water, swimming pool, washing machine (very useful!) and little open kitchen.

For me, personally this property lacks care and love. It has no mirrors in the bathrooms, there’s nowhere to put shampoo, conditioner, cremes etc., the closets don’t have the rails to hang the clothes so it just stays wrinkled. There is a swimming pool with two sun beds but there is no parasol, so it is unbearable to stay there in the midday. And frankly it all looks quite sad. Kitchen utensils don’t look tidy, the pillowcases on the sofa were dirty, the floors were so-so “clean”. The overall interior of the villa (again, in my opinion) needs more detail and attention, I bought some plants while I was staying there to make the grey walls look a bit more cheerful. I also encountered a very unusual communication with the host (Fabian) which left me quite confused. On the second night of my stay I misplaced the key from my room (locked myself out basically). I had my laptop, all of my belongings, passport, money in that room so called for help from the host immediately but he was not available via messages on the booking.com so I called him next day and he was a little bit rude (told me he wasn’t magician etc as if I was asking for something impossible, I was just trying to explain the situation) but eventually he said they will try to take care of this (find the spare key or whatever). BUT! In the end for TWO and a half days I didn’t have access to my room, and heard nothing from Fabian. I was getting desperate and was about to call for the emergency locksmith when by luck and chance I found the key laying outside on the street (probably fell out of my backpack when I was getting on motorbike). I know, I know, I know — it is my fault that I lost the key but hey, I am a guest and he is my host, this is not my property after all, I can’t just walk around knocking out the doors yet I was about to, the situation was quite miserable. But he ignored me. Lol guys. This made my experience at the villa less pleasant, if not unpleasant at all on the moral side of things.

Hard to find. Poor location. Very small room. Very small pool which is hard to get in and out as step is too deep. Room smelt awful!
