Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins

This was an amazing place to stay for Aurora viewing right outside your door!! A frozen riverbed, minimal light pollution, wide open spaces, so beautiful in itself, and even better if the sky was clear and the lights were playing!! The camp hosts Natalie and Tony were also very helpful and available for questions and ideas. The kitchen/lounge/bathroom cabin was very well set up, warm and cosy, good shared facilities, and very clean.

Our cabin was very small, and working out how much to turn the heaters down to get a comfortable indoor temperature was a lot of trial and error. Not sure if any cabins had their own toilet/shower or if it was shared bathroom for all - fine for us but may not suit some if this is the case.

Meraviglioso soggiorno davanti ad un lago ghiacciato che si può attraversare per visitare il villaggio di fronte. Accoglienza e presenza dei proprietari assolutamente meravigliosa. Il bagno nell’igloo solo per emergenza ma ci si adatta tranquillamente agli spazi comuni. Consigliatissimo

The location is beautiful, the windows face the aurora, the fact that we self cater is nice.

The furniture and equipment are quite rundown, sheets and pillows aren’t great and it’s not sufficiently clean.

One of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed in!

The staff was great! The location was nice. Better than expected breakfast. Nice facillaties!

The pillows in the igloo were terrible one wafer thin pillow per person. At that price expected better.

Dormir sous la voûte étoilée dans un petit cocon de douceur est une expérience inoubliable. Le personnel était adorable. Les sanitaires très propres.

Peut être de ne pas avoir de vraie salle de bain attenante à la chambre.
