The Ridge Bali

In a word: excellent! What a wonderful place to relax. Everything was done to perfection. The staff, especially Ngurah, was super helpful. The villa is fully equipped including a lovely infinity pool. In the beautiful Sunset Bar we had a delicious breakfast and a lovely dinner in the evening. If we are in Ubud again we will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The most relaxing, cared for, personalized & tranquil experience.. and this coming from a world traveller! All the compliments and rave reviews to the people who designed the Ridge with all its amenities.. but even more glowing & amazing compliments & reviews to the staff of The Ridge. What an INCREDIBLE experience!!! Right from when we were picked up from the airport in a brand new luxury SUV (pick up was very easy via What’s App) to arriving at the villa. Everyone was prepared and our arrival felt flawless and we felt so cared for & pampered. Everyone was just so genuine and kind. A HUGE shoutout to our butlers, Ngurah & Edy. You are AMAZING!!!!! Incredible shining stars indeed. I will sound like a broken record but honestly, everything was amazing. We loved our villa. AC was quiet and actually kept the villa comfortable cool. Everything impeccably clean and very modern. Surroundings are quiet (you don’t hear traffic or the staff working) — it’s just you and the jungle & river. Beautiful view looking towards the lush jungle & Four Seasons Resort. Food is A++++ — breakfast was divine every single day. Looooved the avocado toast! Communication was done via what’s app with your butler - loved that feature. There was also a phone in the room if you wished to use it. The restaurant onsite, Sayan Valley, also has delicious food and great cocktails. Servers there are so warm & friendly. It was a joy to go downstairs and not order room service. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere they created. We have now been to two different luxury boutique villas/hotels and the Ridge surpassed all of them — BY FAR. I’d give 100 stars if I could — and I don’t give rave reviews often. Keep up the amazing work, The Ridge Team! Certainly do hope to come again in future!!!

Incredible view the best we have ever had in Ubud. Wonderful bedroom with every possible amenity ! Very friendly and attentive staff, would highly recommend !

The moment we entered the door, we felt like we came to a completely different world. They gave a very warm welcome. They prepared a delicious welcome drink, which felt very good during the check-in process. They upgraded our room, and we were happy. The view was magnificent. Every detail has been tastefully thought out and decorated: simple, stylish, elegant and comfortable. There was a tea and coffee machine, different types of tea and coffee capsules. They prepared cookies and tropical fruits and put them next to it. We liked it very much. We paid including breakfast. There was a breakfast menu in the room, we informed them what we wanted to eat the night before and asked them to bring it to our room. It was very nice to have breakfast in the garden of the room with the view and open air. Each of the foods was delicious and satisfying, and their presentations were beautiful. We had dinner at the hotel, the presentation and taste were very good and they took very good care of us. The hotel also offers massage services. We said the day before that we wanted a massage and fixed the time. They came to our room exactly at the time we planned. It has become one of the most unique experiences in our lives. I definitely recommend you to try it. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and warm. They made us feel like at home. Edy took such good care of us that he made every moment at the hotel unique. When we said we wanted to buy tropical fruit, he bought mangosteen fruit for us. Many thanks and love to Edy and Anggi for their contribution to leaving us with such beautiful memories. There were a few places we wanted to visit when leaving the hotel, and they took us wherever we wanted. They said they could also help with airport transfer. In other words, from the moment we stepped into the hotel to the end, they showed incredible interest and added value to every moment. They provided us with an experience far beyond our expectations.

Everything was perfect. Incredible view. The best staff in Bali. Amazing details. I fell in love with this place.

It was very hard to leave the Ridge.

We have just come back from the Ridge and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who will listen! The river view villa is beautifully designed and appointed. The jungle and river views from the deck area are just wonderful. Everything in the property has been carefully hand picked down to the beautiful ceramics breakfast is served in. The attention to detail is everywhere, the design of the room and the finishes just on point, relaxing and stylish. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We have never been looked after like this anywhere else. Our 2 lovely butlers Edy and Ngurah made sure all our wishes came true! Nothing was too much trouble. Our anniversary sure didn’t go unnoticed! Thanks again for all the lovely attentions, we couldn’t have asked for more. The property also has a small but stylish restaurant serving Indonesian cuisine with a view. Do yourselves a favour and book your stay!

It was our first time in Bali and we had a spectacular vacation right from the moment our butler Agung picked us up at the airport. Agung went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible, he was incredibly helpful and very friendly, helped us organise trips, and told us a lot of insights about all sorts of things starting from sightseeing tips to Bali's culture and history. The villa and the service exceeded all our expectations! Watching the most beautiful sunsets in Ubud right from the doorstep of your villa is priceless. At times, it was hard to leave to explore Ubud just because it was so cosy and relaxing in our villa. Since the villa was recently built everything there is brand new, and you can feel that they've put a lot of thought when designing it. Many little touches such as a great selection of local teas or cosy kimonos make you feel welcomed and at home. Loved the breakfast selection, the coffee really good too. They also have a decent selection of in-room dining, plus we were able to sometimes order a delivery from the nearby restaurants which the hotel staff very nicely served on regular plates. We also had a massage included (one of the best we had in Bali) and the tea ceremony - which was a delight in itself. All the hotel employees were really welcoming and friendly and promptly accommodated all our requests. I would definitely recommend this place and would really love to return here myself.

The location was set upon a ‘ridge’ overlooking the most stunning view. It’s not too far from the city centre (15min by car ) or adventures activities. Perfect spot.

Naturally it had some bugs, but that comes with the territory.
