It was a beautiful grand building. Loved that you had the use of the kitchen and lounge areas.

Water wasn’t hot enough to fill the bath.

The room was tired looking and not as clean as you expect from a hotel

Room was in the basement freezing cold no amenities

Beautiful old house, but there is only a portable electric heater to heat a large room! Room was freezing all night. Portable heater could not warm an area 2 feet away. Also, no Internet in the rooms, you can pick up the wifi down stairs. Would not be such a big issue, but cell data is very spotty. You're forced to go to the common areas to get on the net.

The house is lovely. It's also super comfortable. It's ok to sleep there for a night if you're on a road trip.

There was too much food-spiced odour when we arrived. There was no power in the room plugs, so I had to find the thermal switch by myself and turn it on.
