This is an excellent stay for Edinburgh trip, if you got a car. Location is at remote. So gotta have a car. The rooms and viewes are excellent. Amazing staff.

The room was in terrible condition — damp and mouldy, with spiders, moths, and webs throughout, and even a rat scratching inside the walls that kept us awake all night. By morning our clothes smelled strongly of mould, and we checked out immediately as the conditions were completely unacceptable. On top of this, there was no hair dryer, no kettle, only a single cheap plastic hanger in the closet (making it impossible to hang our coats), a random can of beer left in the drawer, and even a dehumidifier pot full of stagnant water on top of the closet, clearly unchanged for months. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

Lovely staff and lovely building. Not too far from Edinburgh, a car is needed for travel.
