Nothing didn't stay. I had to book a different hotel

Up on arrival the first thing I noticed was the smell of weed which wasn't a good start. The reception was unmanned. The decor looked unloved. There was a loud party going next to my room where the smell was emanating from. I contacted reception and was told I had to pay an extra £150 for damage deposit which I was unaware of. I had three children with and this was no place for them to stay a complete waste of time and money. I had to book another hotel where I was greeted with a warm smile and very helpful staff. This experience compounded what was a very difficult weekend as I was visiting for my father's funeral.

The location

There were homeless people sleeping in reception the back door to the hotel had no security no code lock or key lock and the receptionist wasn't very welcoming and if you have a problem there is nobody to sort it out as nobody in the property yiu need to secure it a bit better my children didn't feel safe knowing there was homeless people in the building sleeping and it made them not sleep properly
