DEIt’s in the industrial area, and therefore away from the typical touristy areas. It is family run and the hosts are really responsive and welcoming. It’s is walking distance from Kirkwall city center, and they rent out bicycles. The room that I stayed in was spacious and clean, from my bathroom I had a great view of the downtown city area. And the hosts were really helpful in their recommendations.
I’m very particular when it comes to my mattresses, and it felt like mine had a slight slope to it, but that’s a me thing. I cannot stress this enough that this was a me specific issue, I’m certain that most people would not have noticed this nor would they have cared.

USThe location was very convenient Breakfast was fine. Not a fan of the full English, and they gave us a chance to have other things. Hot pot in room to make tea. The host was very pleasant and helpful.
GBLocation was good. The host was amazingly helpful. The room which includes a private bathroom with a shower was all lovely and very clean. The dining room was also clean and tidy which was great! The continental breakfast was ideal.
The cost, was it worth £165.00 per night I would say not and not forget the extra £15.00 for the Al Carte breakfast! But the issue being supply and demand.

USAUThe owners were amazing…friendly, helpful and great B&B hosts. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also a great size with a good shower. The directions regarding finding the property were really helpful as it is a couple of minutes drive out of town and we initially had to find it in the dark. Parking availability is a bonus. In good weather, it would be easy to walk into Kirkwall. The breakfast was very nice and more than sufficient for my partner and me.
