Central Tacoma Homestay -private room-

Great place to stay, everything was neatly organized, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was very nice. Washer and dryer is an absolute plus. The smoking area in the front is pretty cool as well. One of the best parts of staying here was the 3 cats the owner had roaming around lol

The room and house was nice. Attention to detail for guest use was admirable. And the bed was very comfortable. However my issue was with the cleanliness. I found several hairs and stains on the bed. And the pillows smelled like it’s been slept on for a while. The trash can in the bathroom was full from the day I checked in to the day I checked out, it was never emptied out. The poop stains in the common bathroom for all the rooms to use was left uncleaned. I stayed for two days. And both days had poop stains. Which made no sense. Because the watchers of the house was just living there on the second floor behind a curtain next to the bathroom! I requested for a change of sheets via whatsapp, I didn’t get a response. I had to resend a message via booking. Even offered to take it off. But I didn’t expect the sheets to be left on the floor outside my door with cats roaming around and had to put it on myself. The cats sneaking into the rooms was another issue. They jump on your bed and sit there. If you open the door to leave, they sneak right in. Would I stay here again, no I wouldn’t. But I wouldn’t discourage you not to either. I could tell the owners put a lot of thought and effort into making a beautiful space and experience for their guests. But the people they hired to maintain the place are LAZY! I feel terrible for the owners. They spent a lot of money to create a thoughtfully designed place. You could see the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness behind it. It’s sad that their employees do the bare minimum.

This property and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, almost like part of their family. I would gladly stay here again!

Way too many steps to enter from car parking on street. Busy body owner. Not up to expectations for a hotel alternative

I was excellent I love the cats

This was so lovely! Beautiful home, so so clean, my room was cozy, bathroom was stocked up, all the snacks and coffee. Got to meet Dale, he’s so nice! They have 3 cats and I LOVE cats. Helped me not miss my cat so much. The cats are very friendly and loving. I almost didn’t even want to leave the house and just wanted to snuggle up with the cats. Plenty of parking and it’s so close to everything. I took a quick Uber down few minutes and bar hopped the rad neighborhood bars. The key app is awesome to lock and unlock door. You also get a key to your room. I didn’t know about the gym, my fault. I also didn’t see the massage gun until I was packing up - needed it 😂. Wonderful experience and wonderful stay. I will stay here again when I come back. I almost want to come back just to stay here. Thank you Dale!
