The Old Bakehouse

The service without doubt was way above expectations.

Not that much, maybe the layout of the bathroom if I was being picky.

Clean and comfortable. Good hosts and good breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Will return for sure.

This is the best B & B we have ever stayed in ( we have stayed in a lot of them ! ). Steve and his wife are excellent hosts but not in your face. The breakfast is cooked to your likes using top quality food and the best breakfast of any B & B / hotel we have stayed in with fresh fruit and top quality honey (even the tea / coffee / fruit juice are the best). Lovely quiet very clean room which is topped up with tea, coffee, milk, fresh water and biscuits every day. You have a lounge downstairs to make use of where you can read one of the many books they have. The location is excellent being right in the center of Colyton (but still quiet) and only a few miles from Seaton, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Car parking is very easy to find nearby (free).

Nothing to dislike.

Great location, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and wonderful hosts, although Steve's taste in music is a bit hit n miss. We'll definitely be back.

Steve and Fiona are excellent hosts and nothing could be any trouble. We hope to go back again.

The Old Bakehouse was a perfect place to rest and recoup for a couple of days! The room itself was clean and super comfortable, lovely home cooked breakfast and really fantastic friendly host! Thanks so so much for having us!
