Canandaigua Guesthouse

The hosts were friendly and helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants were great. Breakfast at the guesthouse was always very good. I loved the homemade yogurt and the french toast casserole was so yummy. The homemade blueberry ice cream kept in the hallway freezer along with ice was great. We can’t say enough great things about our experience at the Guesthouse. Every detail was amazing. Jason & Valerie were exceptional hosts. Genuinely lovely people!! They made us feel so welcome and at home. We enjoyed the breakfast on the deck with fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, granola and the midnight snack homemade ice cream snack!!! The room was large and with a very comfortable bed … amazing nights sleep. Canandaigua was worth the ride & we will be back. No doubt where we’ll look to stay next time.

This four-bedroom B&B is exceptional. Hosts Jason and Valarie kept the charm of this 1800s house when they modernized with top-of-the-line appliances and furnishings but kept the original wood floors, hand-painted decor in the dining room and decorative crystal windows. And our hosts were charming as well. Breakfast during our stay included homemade yogurt, pastries, breads, jams and a Spanish egg and onion torte. A special treat was homemade ice cream. And they have snacks and everything to make drink if you bring the alcohol. Canandagua is qient and lovely. I recommend this for a perfect Upstate NY retreat.

Loved it here! Valerie & Jason were wonderful hosts - so welcoming and relaxed. Breakfasts were delicious and winding down at the end of the day with a glass of wine was so nice in the comfy lounge/dining area. We really enjoyed meeting them and their home was beautiful inside and out. Modern amenities blended with classic features made it very comfortable for our three night stay. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful older house,but modern touches. Heated toilet seat, towels wormers in bathroom, plenty of charging stations in your room.

Small parking area but understandable with their location.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Bed and Breakfast! The contemporary modern design struck a perfect balance between style and comfort, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere throughout. Our room was thoughtfully furnished, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable! Little luxuries like the heated toilet added to the experience, and the private parking with EV charging made everything so convenient. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with such care — it was a perfect start to each day. The hosts were exceptionally warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their sweet dogs added even more charm to the stay — friendly, gentle, and always up for a tail wag. As art lovers, we especially appreciated the impressive collection of artwork throughout the property. Every corner seemed to have something beautiful and interesting to discover. All in all, this was one of the most enjoyable and memorable places we’ve stayed. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We discovered our new go to place to stay in Canandaigua! We visit often to see family and often have a hard time finding a nice place to rest our head that is close to family, nice and affordable. Canandaigua Guest house reminded me of a Kimpton Boutique Hotel, my favorite. The rooms were very clean, exquisitely decorated, and comfy beds. The breakfast offered in the morning was perfect, you could grab a piece of homage pumpkin bread and yogurt to go or toast your self a bell and have it by the morning fire. This is my new Canandaigua home. Thank you Valarie!

Very welcoming even though we arrived much later than anticipated. Tastefully decorated. Very comfortable room. Quiet. Continental breakfast was thoughtful (I am gluten and dairy free) and delicious! Wonderful stay! Highly recommend!!!
