Canandaigua Guesthouse

We loved our stay! Our Hosts were amazing, welcoming and attentive. Location was close to all and we used this comfortable quiet base for our day trips to Niagara Falls & Finger Lakes. Great parking, spacious guest room & bathroom. We’ll definitely be back when in the area!

The property was well acquainted, with a nice location within walking distance of downtown. The continental breakfast was filling and quite tasty.

Valarie and Jason were incredible hosts - they made the visit to Canandaigua even better. Between the really cool rooms (very clean and up to date), the beautiful home and decor, their adorable dogs and exceptional breakfasts - we cannot wait for our next trip to the lake! Everything they did was top notch and personalized - do yourself a favor and stay here because you'll have the best time!

Jason was such a friendly and accommodating host, and his sweet canine ‘welcoming committee’’ were adorable!

Valerie and Jason are the consummate hosts! They were always willing to answer questions and were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious (especially Jason’s tortilla). The accommodation was clean and spacious with high end finishes in the bathroom. Located close to the heart of Canadaigua, the building is located close to many excellent restaurants. I highly recommend the Canadaigua Guesthouse.

This guest house is charming and immaculate! We loved the experience of being in an 1840s mansion, with the comfort and freshness of a modernly restored home. Jason and Valerie are wonderful hosts, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - letting us use their bikes to explore the town, setting out warm, freshly baked cookies in the afternoon, and inviting us to join them on their beautiful covered porch for cheese and wine. And importantly, the bed was super comfortable! My husband slept through the night for the first time in months! Also, we loved their charming dogs, Lola and Hope, who are extremely people friendly and helped make us feel at home.

We loved the feeling of being in town, but recognize that those looking for the experience of being on the lake might not be as happy with the location, which is about a mile walk away.

Room was overly spacious and comfortable; large bathroom - especially appreciated the heated towel bar! Hosts were especially gracious and friendly.

A little easier plug-in for my cpap machine, which the host said he would attend to promptly.
