The De La Vina Inn

LOVE this place!! Rooms are super adorable. Love the main house area as well.

The place is a beutiful old wooden house converted in a small hotel. It's completely automated, so there was no staff working in the lobby of the hotel, which was very creepy. The house was remodeled, but still the air was stuffy and smelled very old. I wanted to spend a few nights in beautiful Santa Barbara, and not to stay in a museum. In addition, there were no A/C controls in the room so I had to ask staff over text messages for help multiple times. It's a beautiful house to see, but not remodeled sufficiently to be a hotel I want to stay in.

Location was excellent, near enough to walk to a number of restaurants, bars, and shopping. The neighborhood is lovely. The room had an amazing view and a large private patio on the 3rd floor. The complimentary bottle of wine was delicious and parking at the hotel was easy to access. The soaking tub is delightful

For the private suite on the 3rd floor the last set of stairs are incredibly narrow, not very well lit, and you are almost guaranteed to hit your head going up or down (at least down has a warning sign about it) if you are over 5'7". Additionally, the bathroom door is almost impossible to close or open and very loud when you do get it to move.

Amazing place to stay. Host was easily contactable and very helpful. Even gifted us a bottle of local wine which was delicious. Highly recommend!

La villa si trova a 6 minuti di auto da State Street e dell'oceano e si colloca in un quartiere residenziale tranquillo. Tutti gli spazi, sia interni che esterni, sono molto curati. La nostra camera era ampia e pulita. L'accesso alla front door e alla camera avviene tramite l'inserimento di un codice. Il proprietario, gentilissimo, si è preoccupato di telefonarci prima del nostro arrivo per avvisarci che la nostra stanza era pronta e che ci avrebbe mandato il link con tutte le istruzioni necessarie per accedere alla villa. Ad attendere gli ospiti era comunque presente una signora del personale molto disponibile, la quale ci ha fornito ulteriori istruzioni. Disponibili H24 caffè e tea nella sala comune.
