Amazing setting, our room was amazing

Highly unusual accommodation venue. Quirky decor and outside area Very friendly owner.

Our room had no net curtains at the lovely big windows yet all other people staying had to pass by.

Very different from the norm. A lovely house with rooms in out buildings around a courtyard. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

We had a lovely stay. It was a well proportioned room, lovely en-suite bathroom with a great shower and super fluffy towels. We were given a friendly welcome, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

We had a wonderful weekend at this venue, staying in one of the cottages. Blessed by warm weather, we could have drinks on the communal patio areas near the bar, and wander the lovely, peaceful grounds. The continental breakfast was just right, with a large, warm croissant, sourdough toast, and a small pot of yoghurt, fruit and honey, all served in the attractive cafe bar. The cottage was spacious with very comfortable beds and two sofas. There's a very small seating area directly outside but another larger grassy place behind the cottage block. The communal garden and patio is even nicer. Shop, art gallery too! Extremely nice staff throughout the experience.

Our small TV had a poor picture and weak reception, but we fiddled with the aerial behind the fridge and this improved. The rubber on the dishwasher had almost come away on one side, but we pushed it in and managed to use it once. It would be a problem for a longer stay. (All small problems which didnt spoil our stay. We'd definitely go again!)
