The Six Bells

This is a nice little country pub in a village. We had a very small room but that was because I requested a room with shower only (ie not over a bathtub) The room was compact, but clean and comfortable. A mirror in a different place (not behind tv) would have been helpful for using the hairdryer! Breakfast was freshly cooked but early (7am - 8am) a bit too early for us, so we had to sit around for an hour or so before leaving, and we’re still too early for our appointment later. They say they don’t serve meals on Mondays and Tuesdays so we ate elsewhere before arriving, but Nigel said they do cook for B&B guests.

The staff are above and beyond. Very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was great what value for money!! xx

Had a really nice stay here. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Showers are very good. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Cooked breakfast was good and dinner as well. The location is fairly remote so getting around without a car is a bit tricky.

Room v small (comfort double) but fine for single traveller. Breakfast was really nice, served up by a good front of house host. A bit of a remote location and pub closes at 930pm.

Lovely and quiet friendly village pub Very clean but would have liked a chair in the room to sit on although in all fairness there probably wouldn’t have been enough room for one Will definitely stay again if I am in the area Unfortunately did not have breakfast as I had to leave early but based on everything else I am sure it would have been excellent Highly recommend this place

Lovely friendly hotel / pub / restaurant. Lovely comfortable room, lovely breakfast free parking would not hesitate in rebooking. Definitely a safe bet. Only negative comment both extractor fan and kettle (inside) need a clean did not want to mention in person. Just making a comment for the owners however a lovely stay overall.

Exceptionally clean, well appointed rooms. Good dinner options, great breakfast, plentiful parking, excellent value for money: what's not to like??

comfortable room and nice service but disappointing menu which we thought expensive for the area, and wifi service is not possible. also disappointing about late check in and early check out times with breakfast served latest at 9 on a Sunday.

Friendly bar staff and good atmosphere in bar/restaurant. Food was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, small but comfortable. Power shower gave good pressure.
