"Beautiful cottage with fantastic hosts"

Tumbleweed cottage in a heart beat, the village is beautiful and serene. The cottage that was renovated by the owners Sef and Shaan had everything you would ever need and more, the breakfast was superb and plentiful. It was so fantastic to hear Sef speak so passionately about the history of the village and their cottage. There are lots of nice villages and museum’s to visit in the area. Thank you both for making me feel so welcome. I will be returning.

"Perfect place"

This is truly a gem of a find... perfect stop over for us on our way North... Everyone about our stay was perfect, cosy, comfortable, & amazing authentic food in the evening & lovely breakfast. Our 2 labs were made so welcome with a field in the back garden for them to be safe. Cannot rate more highly. Great bridleway walk in the morning.We will be coming back. Thank you

Perfect in every way. Beautiful field to walk in without driving. Full of wildlife, trees to paint and views of the country side to die for. The Mistletoe captures your memories from times gone by, with a very special Robin looking on. We stayed for dinner both evenings (we usually go out) and enjoyed both meals and the ambience immensely, breakfast was also faultless.

The owner was extremely welcoming. He loves and cares about his cottage and it shows in every corner. Many things were thought out like the electric curtens, the LED lighting in the stairs, the electric photos in the hall way, the amazing shower, the tastey breakfast, etc....

The toilet seat was broken underneath, didn't sit properly, and a hard close so crashed down, and was a mismatch to everything else that was thought out. Could easily change that to a soft close to complete the suite. The central heating switched off at 10pm and the duvet was not warm enough, and unfortunately there wasn't a spare duvet in the cupboard, so went to sleep cold and hoped to warm up throughout the night.
