The Laurence is a very special place in a prime location to explore the city of Derry.

Very stylish townhouse with elegant if eclectic decor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff Comfortable and spacious shared lounge downstairs. Great breakfast with good choice.

Bedroom a little cramped with room for only 1 chair Decor may be too dark for some tastes.

The steep hill,ok going down but a killer coming back. Easily dealt with by taxi which was only £4 from anywhere in the city.

The history of the place and the work that has gone into creating a great hotel. The food was also fantastic! Parking was also free on the street (note that even though it was early May, there was fairly limited parking, so taking this into account if you’re up in summer months).

The hotel isn’t really a b&b, but rather one of multiple properties owned by a larger company/person; felt like a hotel, not a locally owned facility. Shower was finicky and had poor water pressure. A little far from the city centre (closer to 20 minutes walk).

Kleines, persönliches Hotel mit Liebe zum Detail. Jedes Zimmer wurde individuell gestaltet und geschmackvoll ei gerichtet. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The Lawrence is a beautifully-curated gem. A gorgeous Victorian house, I love the literary theme. The sitting room with bar is cosy and tranquil. Our room was beautifully decorated. I would like to have stayed longer.

Our room was cosy in size but fine for us and the length of our stay.
