True Beach Resort

Our stay at True Beach Resort was wonderful. The people were the nicest and the rooms and restaurants were spacious and clean. Highly recommended 🥰

Great hotel. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and we enjoyed the swim-up pool and the beautiful beach. The staff is friendly. The on-site diving center is amazing, with fun dives and snorkeling trips led by competent personnel. There are plenty of dining options.

We encountered some inconsistencies with the information provided by the staff (e.g., we asked about booking a cruise one month before and were told to book after check-in; however, upon arrival, we were told it was not the case, as it is all fully booked).

The staff were amazing. Always helpful. There were no other resorts to close so it was really nice. Except for the thumping music playing all day. There was a diving centre at the resort and we did go diving. I liked that there was a verity of food and drinks. It was always clean and friendly.

The diving centre never told us that they don’t dive from the resort. To do boat diving you need to travel about an hour either direction. Shore diving can be as close as 20min by taxi. The one site we dived at was disgusting! Rubbish all over the beach and in the water… when I made the booking I had an option to book a sea view or pool view room. The sea view room is in front of the pool. So you look down onto the pool with the sea far away in the background. Then the dj had his speaker facing our part and he played techno music all day so when we were in our room we had to close ourselves inside. I like music but the age group was around 60’s so more appropriate music would have been nice.

The resort is pretty looking and stylish. Sea has a perfect picture color but it is always windy. Pool is not heated. Food is acceptable for 5 star in the main restaurant. Seafood restaurant food and management (Mahmoud) are stellar which is a la carte. Staff is friendly but not always effective.

We booked airport transfer through hotel and was promised a Van type car which we were paid for but it arrived small car instead with limited space for legs and comfort in general. When we pointed that in the hotel they sent us to talk to hotel guide and he was incredibly rude to the extent that he said: “You don’t teach me my job”, never apologized and ping pong us back to the reception. Situation was never sorted by neither sides which is unacceptable for 5 star hotel. We arrived in the room which was smelling like someone smoked there, not sure if it was cleaning staff or guests before who smoked. It is missing little details and staff training which can be things to improve. Fridge was liking water and was fixed after 2 complaints. Telephone in the room wasn’t working and was never fixed even though was flagged. We had early check out and asked to pick up our luggage in the morning, but was forgotten. Little details which is not making stay experience in a true 5 star resort.

No gaming center. animation team need to be more interactive with the guests and the night show program need more variety
