Host people seemed nice and helpful.

I chose room #5 upstairs. As soon as I opened the door, it smelled dusty and old. My pillow covers looked almost yellow and smelled bad. I could feel powdery texture on my fingertips when I touch my bed and pillow. The bodytowel was thin and old too. When I opened the fridge, its inside was wet and there’s a pool on a shelf. I didn’t want to put anything. Both bedroom and bathroom were pretty dark, and “water is precious” stickers everywhere in the room. It was a bit too much. When I woke up in the first morning here, I saw a dead cockroach on the floor next to my bed. And my body felt itchy. So sorry to say that but I didn’t feel safe or comfortable here, so I booked 7nights here but left on the 2nd day. Dirty, dusty, smelly, big bugs, and dark are not what I expected for a comfortable stay for me.

Villa rose 1 has it all. Excellent,clean and comfortable rooms. Great pool Great location Value for money is excellent Most of all the staff were extremely helpful,polite and they went above and beyond to make your stay perfect! Thanks guys,will be back very soon.

Good location and friendly staff. Fridge, aircon and a pool was very good. Overall a good place to stay!

Lighting was a little dim, bathroom was quite average and the wifi kept disconnecting.

Lovely little place that has 6 rooms total. 2 downstairs poolside and 4 upstairs. The owners/staff are very friendly as are the many cats that live around the reception area. The bed was comfy and the room sufficient. Nice little pool.

The location wasn't too bad but to get to the best restaurants you need to grab a Gojek or taxi to get to the main strip Jl. Danau Tamblingan as during the wet season walking isn't great. There was some construction going on next door but it wasnt too bad. A kettle in the room would be a plus.
