Loughview

Loughview is located very close to Bangor Marina and there is free parking either near to the Marina itself or on the street opposite the property. Communication with the hosts was very easy and they provided clear instructions about how to access the house and room (self check-in - although Steve and Luna (the dog 😊) were around when we arrived). They were able to accommodate our request re check-in time as well, which was great. The bedroom was comfortable; no sea view or anything but that was not expected. The en-suite bathroom had everything necessary although the shower enclosure is a bit tired now. There is a lovely spacious sitting room/dining area downstairs which we had to ourselves. This did have a sea view and there were comfy furnishings, a large television and books, etc. The dining area had a large table with six chairs and everything you could need: coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge. The hosts provided plenty of bits and pieces for us - they seemed to have thought of everything as decaf coffee and tea were available, along with oat milk (which I had requested and Orla remembered 🙏🏻), bread, cereals, yoghurt, butter, jam and fruit. Breakfast is self-service. We had a lovely stay.

Quality room in a beautiful Victorian house. Bedroom and bathroom were fresh, clean and bright. The comfortable and spacious living spaces (lounge and dining) with an amazing view were an extra bonus. Great location - close to all town amenities & restaurants. Friendly and welcoming host.

Orla and Stevie were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel a genuine sense of hospitality that truly felt like home. The bedroom was clean, inviting, and remarkably quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly. The view of the sea from the living room is great!
