The Sautee Inn Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic time at the Sautee Inn with Rebecca & Mike. Our room was hug with a balcony & beautiful furniture. The food evening snack & breakfast were delicious, truly gourmet! We just didn't have enough time there & in the area to see all the waterfalls!

Rebecca was a lovely host, and this bed-and-breakfast is situated in a lovely part of the state. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Recommended!

My husband and I have taken a Christmas-town trip for about 7 years now. This year, I chose Helen GA. And the Sautee Inn was exactly what we were looking for. It is out of town just a little bit so the joy was in the nature, trees, forest on and surrounding the property. The house is amazing and decorated so lovely for Christmas. The breakfast was delicious, as were the evening desserts and 24/7 access to coffee, hot chocolate, and all of the yummy add-ins this time of year! We talked about coming back to Helen in the fall, perhaps, and we would certainly stay at Sautee Inn again.

Rebecca, Mike and staff made our stay perfect. Breakfast was different each morning and delicious. The Garden View room was lovely, pet friendly (they made our pets feel welcome!) and the showers had plenty of hot water! They are decorating for Christmas and the entire inn looks magical. We hope to visit again soon.

Rebecca and Deni made us feel so very welcome! It felt like we were old friends. I have a number of food allergies which they graciously accommodated--they even made sure the chef at the local restaurant where we had dinner was aware of my allergies!

We had a great experience at the B&B. The Victorian room was very spacious and extremely quiet. Being able to go onto the back screen porch to enjoy the charcuterie board made for us and the wine we purchased in town was outstanding. The view is breathtaking. Desert was provided, which included pumpkin bars, Blue Bell ice cream, and a mocha chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, all homemade. The owner even made a special gluten-free brownie for a guest. The breakfast was unique and delicious. We felt like we were at a 5-star restaurant. Don't get me started on the coffee- Holy Yum! There are a couple of restaurants just across the street, as well as the oldest continuous country store in the U.S., all within walking distance. So, you don't have to go into town for dinner and fight the crowds. If you are looking for a quaint place to stay while visiting Helen or taking a wine tour, consider giving Sautee Inn a try. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful classic house, with superb service..im a glutten free intolerant and they prepared special meals for me, we had a great stay there. Oktoberfest in Helen was a great experience as well

Rebecca was so lovely and incredibly accommodating. We got engaged during our stay, Rebecca helped my now fiancé find the perfect place in the mountains to propose — such a special memory we’ll never forget! The inn itself was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. Nestled in a beautiful mountain setting, it was the perfect mix of peaceful and romantic. Breakfast was delicious, and the homemade dessert was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend the Sautee Inn for a romantic and memorable mountain getaway! 💍🌄

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you this past week. We were treated like a King and Queen. The breakfast was extremely delicious and the walks we took were very relaxing. We are planning another trip to the Sautee Inn very soon. The decorations were beautiful for the fall season. We are hoping to go again near Christmas. Everyone was friendly and very helpful while we were there.

We stayed at The Sautee Inn over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing time. Rebecca, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. She’s a great host and clearly puts a lot of care into the experience. The house itself is beautiful, historic, and full of charm. It’s in a perfect spot too - close to Helen if you want to explore, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Everything about the stay was easy and relaxing. Great location, great host, great vibes. We’re already talking about when we can go back!
