It's quiet in a very nice neighborhood. Not far from convenience stores and restaurants. Also the nearest mall is close; though, not walkable, taking the Grab ride share won't cost too much. Also close to the ferry that takes you to Singapore or if you're coming by ferry from Singapore.

Gangster owner, broken facilities, bad services and forced customers to take broken room when you didn't prepared a room before customers arrived.

There was a booking issue—the system was overbooked, and we were moved to a worker’s room instead of the room we originally reserved. The host handled the situation poorly, showing a bad attitude and refusing to refund us even though the promised room was unavailable. The host was dishonest, claiming it was a room exchange when it was clearly a downgrade due to overbooking. The solution offered was unreasonable and unprofessional—we were asked to accept a refund via bank transfer to a Batam bank account, which is impractical for tourists who don’t have local accounts. The host also did not keep his promise regarding the refund or compensation method. Overall Experience: While the physical environment of the homestay was pleasant, the mismanagement, dishonesty, and poor customer service made the stay disappointing. I hope the management improves its booking process and communication with guests, especially when handling issues with tourists.

The facilities : free water & washing machine The room is spacious. Overall, it's worth the money. The hosts were nice.

My stay at the Hapdesko homestay was fantastic, thanks to the friendly host, Mr. Yoga. The rooms were spotless, and the location was convenient. Mr. Yoga also offered transportation in his car, making it easy for us to explore all the attractions in Batam. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.
