Saturn's Return

The owners were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet.

The outdoor area was messy. In the pics it showed mowed lawn in eating areas. It was actually tall dead grasses. They should keep the main areas mowed down. Also they should wipe down the outside eating areas. When I went to sit for breakfast the chair was soaked and dirty, had to go change cloths.

Appreciated that they accommodated for breakfast when we had an early start to one our days. The host was wonderful and very courteous, our room was very clean and ready for us to occupy, and although we had to share a bathroom, we never had any conflicts to use it, and the bathroom was very clean. Most of all, it was away from the hustle and bustle of Friday Harbor when we wanted to finally hang it up for the day.

Saturn's Return is one of San Juan Island's "hidden" gems. The location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway. It's on the other end of the island but easily accessible from Friday Harbor. Emma and Wiley were great friendly hosts. It was easy to tell from the choice of bed linens to the robes, toiletries, etc., that they put a lot of thought and effort into making their guests feel at home. Loved our room, the sun room, living room and outdoor space. Pretty much everything! I took the best nap I've had in years shortly after checking in and slept like a baby throughout the night. The locally sourced breakfast spread was such a delight to wake up to. Oh, and don't freak out when you see a turkey lurking around. It's the farm's superstar and chummy ambassador, Super! Can't wait to stay here again!

Friendly owner, peaceful property, fresh and locally sourced breakfast

There is no sign on road so hard to find property. Very spare accommodations. No decorations on walls. No window coverings. Stayed in 2 bed room. Up steep flight of stairs. One bed was on platform-easy to trip in middle of night. One of us slipped in bathtub which had no mat available. Breakfast was a little late (at 830) which made it difficult if we planned a morning activity. Breakfast was ok but cold-very fresh and locally sourced. There is no button or way to contact proprietor if needed

Emma and Wiley were amazing hosts. Kind, low key, welcoming…the breakfast of locally procured eggs, salmon, bread, yogurt, butter and homemade spreads was the perfect compliment to this idyllic setting. We love what this project stands for and the vision for the future. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing stay! Everything was exceptional and we will absolutely be returning. This will probably turn into our frequent visit spot as everything, down to the detail was perfect. The breakfast was very fresh with local eggs, bread, butter, granola, delicious coffee, smoke salmon, yogurt. The rooms were very comfortable and we slept without waking for the first time in months. Highly recommend this spot! It is 15 min to Friday Harbour or 45 min by bike and 8 min to Roche Harbor. Very central and easy to get to. We brought our bikes and bikes to Friday Harbour.

Emma & Wiley are amazing hosts, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delightful and the farm setting truly feels like you've gotten away and experienced the islands. Would highly recommend a stay at Saturn's return!
