North Hero House Inn and Resort

Charming property with a lovely setting on the lake with great food. A bit far from things but if you want quiet beauty this is it. Don’t recommend rooms on the third floor if you have heavy bags as the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Otherwise our room was fine.

Beautiful location on Lake Champlain. Delicious dinner at onsite restaurant and huge decadent breakfast that was included with night at the Inn. Only concern was that the road the inn was on was extremely busy cars flew down and we heard them all night and it felt dangerous to ride our bikes on that road. Also, would have liked water bottles in room. Since the lobby of the inn was inside the restaurant open to public it wasn’t easy to get water or any drinks as a guest staying over night. Overall spectacular location would just bring ear plugs next time for the noisy busy road that the door to room is on.

Absolutely gorgeous views the room is very tidy staff was very friendly. Only draw back is there's not enough towels in the bathrooms and what is with the Single ply toilet paper.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the location. We are glad that the inn offers kayaks and safety equipment. The private sand beach was super nice. The place is near the road, so it's easy to see and access and we had no problem to park. The only thing I would've changed, if I knew, was the room, because we were directly above the kitchen so there was vibration from the kitchen door (starts around 6am and ends around 11hpm). Thanks for your hospitality!

This was a truly hidden gem. I had searched it out on Expedia, and it was truly way, way nicer than I had anticipated. Beautiful room (although the third floor is a bit of a hike, but lots of options on the property). The complimentary breakfast options are DELICIOUS, and we ate at the bar every night. The food was fantastic, staff was amazing, room was gorgeous and clean. I would recommend this as highly as possible, only wish I could give it SIX stars!

This place was comfortable, fun and right on the water. Beautiful and quaint. The price was great for what you got. Not real luxurious, but comfortable and clean and friendly.

Its a nice location and place overall with a few great options for meals. Very good food. We cycled all day and were hoping to rest at a nice place. Unfortunately, wedding party was staying at the inn and partying till 1:30 AM - dancing, singing. Pretty much it was no chance of sleeping and resting until the party was over. Considering we had to be up early and continue cycling the next day, it was a short rest. Seems like the rest of inn’s guests were ignored. Otherwise could have been a nice stay.

It is so peaceful at north hero. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the water. The screened in deck is the best.
