Lovely property in an incredibly scenic location. Beautiful room and views of the lake. Wasn't aware ahead of time that our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator - that should have been mentioned on the hotels.com website. Also there was an odd, musty smell in the lobby and bar area. Rest of the property was wonderful though. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.

No amenities in room which was smalll and tiny shower with rain like water which was very hard to wash hair etc. not worth the price to stay there our room was above the kitchen/dining room which was very noisy during hours they were serving meals.

I always enjoy staying at North Hero House, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was good, however, the walls are very thin and we had very loud neighbors that were talking and laughing past 12am. We also had dinner on our last night, Friday, the service was terrible, we waited 30 minutes for a wait staff to bring water, they did not check on us, we waited a long time for food once they took our order and then another 30 minutes to process the check payment.

Beautiful property! Our room was lovely, comfortable bed, soft sheets and pillows. Nice porch with a beautiful view. Bar was nice, breakfast and dinner were great! Extra bonus - breakfast was included!!
