Kubu Gena Guest House Canggu

The location was great, very eqsy to get atound, especially with Gojek or the scooter rental. The hosts were nice and helpful with all matters. Also, I like the spacious, comfortable and clean room!

Cleanliness of the kitchen/common area (especially towels). Also my towels of the room weren’t changed during my stay (3 weeks), but I also did not ask for it. The thing that annoyed me, was the daily throat clearing sounds of a family member next door. I do not like to woken up by this, nor be confronted by it during the day.

Handy location to everything but tucked away from street and noise. Room was spotless and comfortable bed. Lovely staff.

The location is perfect off the busy roads with nice resturant and cafes around.

Super private and quiet room with a massive balcony to relax. You would not believe you are in such a busy area of Canggu. The bed was really comfortable as well. Staff was nice and helpful, gave us a hand with luggage and organised a trustworthy driver. Many food options right outside or within walking distance.

Unfortunately, we could only stay one night as we had already planned a stay in the North.

The room is good for work as it has big working place. Wi-Fi is super fast. Good room cleaning, nice balcony. It’s quite place despite location, but can be a bit noisy in the morning, starting 7:00 because of a kids. But I have a deep sleep so it wasn’t a problem most of a time.

Overall, it was a nice place, and I think I will come back one day. However, there are some improvements that could be made. For instance, the pillows were too big, and I ended up sleeping without them. It would be great to clean the kitchen area every day, especially to throw away garbage, as it starts to smell very fast. Additionally, the refrigerator needs some organization, as it was often full and contained rotten products. Perhaps guests could be asked to mark their food and throw it away after they leave.

This place is super clean and the service is very good. The staffs are willing to help anytime we had any questions. As for the room, they were quite spacious and I got the one with a balcony (its was very spacious) The beds are big and comfortable. At first I didn’t quite like the pillows but found out they had a softer/less firm option and made the swap for us immediately. Honestly, the best guest house I’ve stayed in Bali till date!

Everything was better than expected. Super amazing people. Extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Great location as well. Literally easy commute to everywhere. Definitely will be back. Terima kasih. 🙏
