New Mumbul Ubud

Fint lille sted tæt på Ubud Palace. Man skal være ferm på trapper. Værelset er stort og har super godt internet. Den lille gårdhave er også skøn. Stort badeværelse med badekar og der er dejligt duftende sæber og tandbørste. Der er ingen pool.

The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable but everything in the bathroom was falling apart. Bidet was leaking, leaving the floor wet and dangerous, the shower head did not stay in place on the wall, the towels did not smell clean and it seemed complicated to check in since we did a last minute booking (couple hours before)

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a big, spacious room + bathroom and really comfortable bed + pillows. It's very central with lots of cafes/restaurants within just a few steps. It's located behind a restaurant and just far enough away from the road noise. The aircon worked well (although pretty noisy, I needed earplugs) and plenty of storage in the room and bathroom. I only saw a couple of mozzies in a whole month, but made sure I kept the doors closed. You can hear the Bali dancing music each night at the nearby temple and the surrounding restaurants also play really good music!! But it was always finished by 9-11pm.

The room cleanliness was disappointing and you needed to ask for the room to be cleaned. I was told every 3 days, but it only happened if I asked for it and said what I needed (clean towels, bins emptied, sweep floor, replace toilet paper etc). The shower pressure was unpredictable and the shower drain was blocked for the first 2 weeks, but did eventually start draining again. The drains were VERY smelly (but I think this is just a Bali thing??). There was also a creature in the roof at one point, as well as the usual Bali gecko and bug visitors. Staff could be hard to find and there was definitely a difficult language barrier. Wifi was ok for video calls before 9am but after this I needed to hotspot my phone for work calls.

The bedding and towels had many fresh stains even when i asked for new ones they were still very dirty

good location, set back off the main busy street, was cool since dug into a creekbank, good tile floor. Balinese owned and run.

bathroom not too clean, front door lock didnt work well. Down 2 flights of typical bali irregular stairs.

The room is located in the heart of Ubud but a few steps behind and under the main road which gives a beautiful mix of peace and possibilities.

When our room got “cleaned” the sheets was not changed nor were our towels. The toilet and sinknwas not cleaned either.

Location was great but everything else was bad. They never changed my sheets in a week. They only made the bed and rehung the towels and no clean towels with their every other day room cleaning service. Had to ask for water replenishment since you can't use the tap water to brush your teeth. Had problems with the door lock, key aways jammed.
