Downen House Bed & Breakfast

Staying at the Downen Bed and Breakfast was like coming home- welcoming, comfortable, and full of joy! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. I felt spoiled with the additional amenities of complimentary wine, a fluffy robe for the hot tub, and the most delicious breakfast ever. The best part of the stay was definitely the kindness of our hosts. Grateful we booked and excited to return some day soon!

We had a marvelous time at Downen House and Breakfast. The breakfast was extraordinarily delicious. We had lots of space in our apartment.

Everything was perfect.

Stayed here on my wedding night and even though we got in a bit late the hosts still greated us. Bed was super comfortable and the room felt like a blast from the past with modern amenities. The next morning we had breakfast with the other guest snd by far the best quiche I've ever had. Even though I live ten minutes away I am tempted to stay there again.

Beautiful historic home. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful breakfast of quiche and a fresh fruit parfait. They thought of everything to make us cimfortable.

Tammy and Scott are ultimate hosts. Their home is clean, welcoming, over-stocked with amenities that one would not find in another hotel (wine, refreshments, beautiful towels, plush bathrobes, fine accoutrements, beautiful breakfast service. They clearly take incredible pride in their B&B. Everything was spotless and tastefully appointed. I just about didnt want to leave, as we were having lovely conversation with hosts that made us feel like we were their houseguests.

That it had a history, and that they’re trying to respect that. Made me feel very comfortable enjoyed the lovely insides.

I really enjoyed my stay at Downen. It's a beautiful house and the owner's were amazingly accommodating. I had very pleasant conversations with the husband and wife. The breakfast itself was excellent. I remember being pleasantly surprised that not only were they very personable but also amazing cooks! The room itself was very comfortable and private with its own bathroom. I will absolutely stay here again and am looking forward to the opportunity.

I honestly can't think of a single piece of constructive feedback. The property more than met my expectations and I can't wait to go back.
