Coleman Court Summer Apartments

La posizione era ottima e vicino al centro città. Camera spaziosa e letto molto morbido.

La camera era davvero sporchissima e abbiamo anche dovuto chiedere di cambiare degli asciugamani appena siamo arrivati perché avevano delle macchie. Nel bagno non è possibile spegnere la ventola per una questione di umidità. Nella nostra stanza mancava una tenda oscurante.

All in all Okay not perfect but not that bad either. Location is central, shops of all tastes, buildings are a mix of styles and conditions.

We found a pair of socks behind armchair, obviously missed by cleaning staff, which we left there and reported to reception. Drain in the shower was clogged we had to clean it ourselves. Bed was not done properly so we had to re do it. Cover was smaller than the maitrasses .

The apartment I stayed in was very clean and had wonderful views of Cork, including St. Anne's and the hillside where the Church of the Ascension lies. The building is situated within the city centre and within less than 2 km of any kind of restaurant, grocery, pub, and/or amenities you may need.

Like most things in Ireland-- it seems-- my stay of three nights was a tad expensive. I think it was worth it but considering the price of goods in general here, it would have been nice if the rate was lower.

The location was excellent, very central. We also liked the security aspect of the gates closing at 9 pm and the no parties rule as we like quiet accommodation. The apartment had everything we needed and we could request towels and hairdryer as required. Staff friendly and happy to help.

There were 2 issues whilst we were there. On arrival we were told the lift wasn’t working and, as we were on the 6th floor, there were a lot of stairs to climb! We understood that’s just one of those things and it was fixed the following day luckily. On our last evening we had gone to bed early as we had a 4 am start due to airport pick up. At 11.20 pm we had a knock on our door to say we had apparently reported noise! The only noise was being woken by the guy from reception! To be honest I then struggled to get back to sleep, which was a pity as we had enjoyed good sleep our 3 previous nights. I understand the staff had to check this out however even when we asked him about it in the morning on checkout he was quite dismissive about it, no apology for having wakened us up, hence why not 5 stars only 4. Thanks though, we would stay there again.
