Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful property, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a 10 minute walk to downtown. We would love to stay here again !

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Irland, haben immer 5 Sterne gebucht. An dem Tag war alles ausgebucht und wir mussten auf das Herbert Haus ausweichen. Das war die beste Unterkunft, die wir in Irland hatten. Es hat alle 5 Sterne Hotels bei weitem übertroffen. Sauber, freundliche Gastgeber, super schöne Zimmer.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Killarney national park is just down the road. It’s a very convenient location. The room was comfortable. I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, clean, comfortable and characterful BnB, in a great location an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Warm and friendly customer service. Comfy beds, great bath tub, supermarket just a few houses up the road. We were only disappointed there was no breakfast service during our stay as the previous breakfast reviews were fab! I think as they were doing some minor works/painting the dining room so it was closed- hopefully next trip we can try the breakfast!

Very nice place to stay!

Short 10 min walk into town. Clean small hotel in good condition. Chef ‘having problems’ and was not available to cook breakfast. We had to leave the property to obtain food in the morning. Apart from a 3 minute introduction when checking in, we saw no staff except for the cleaners for the entire 2 nights we were there. On the plus side, we were changed by request from a room on the front which faced the busiest street in Killarney to a quiet one at the back. For the amount of money spent, it wasn’t worth staying here. At this price, breakfast should have been included…disappointed.

This is a lovely property with very nice hosts.

I've stayed in Killarney many times over the years, this year I couldn't get into any of my usual hotels. I booked Herbert house and to say it is wonderful is an understatement, Neil the owner is a gentleman and a true Kerry man, walking into town is easy, location is perfect. If you're coming to Ireland and you want to see traditional hospitality then this is the place
