HM Bavaro Beach – Adults Only

We loved out stay at HM Bavaro Beach. The view was excellent - oceanfront. The dining options were good. There were other dining options on the beach within walking distance which were also very good. Fresh seafood! We did the whale watching tour arranged through the sister property. It was fantastic!

Beautiful view, friendly staff. It was a small hotel for the area which was very nice!! Breakfast was good except for pastries & bread products. Cocktails good. Restaurants for dinner were a miss. Sushi & pasta were both mushy. Skip those!

Excellent stay. Great staff! Thank you Genesis, Wendy, Karelis, Thomas, and others for your exceptional service. Room was great, beautiful sea view. Food was fresh and delectable. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Room was clean and all common areas had a fresh scent and being constantly managed by security, fetl safe. Tons of activities and restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurant food and drinks were great too. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend and I cant wait to return!

Beachfront was nice for seeing the ocean, but adults only venue had kids screaming on the volleyball court for hours. Breakfast menu advertised not available. No water - none. Happened no less than 5 times in a 4 day stay. Description and details on Expedia are inaccurate and downright false. Charged for extra person after renting a double room.

The Location is excellent, but the music both on the propery and next door is obnoxiously loud - I had to change rooms.

It was a good stay. My first time to the Dominican Republic and booked on a whim, so wasnt sure what to expect, but the country is beautiful, the people are great. Resort was good. Pros: staff was friendly and accomodating. Naeomi, & Tomas really took good care of us. Staff went above and beyond with our requests. Breakfast buffet was good. Ate at Skybar everynight, and it was okay (dont rec. Burger). Bartender Tomas was just so amazing. Pool was great and very private. Views are amazing- thoroughly enjoyed staring at the ocean most days. Cons: very noisy. Loud slamming doors, all night & even staff talking loudly outside in the halls at night. Skybar had a loud music night (it was Sat). the tourist boats parked out front blasting music on the beach (if you have an oceanview suite, its a problem). The boat music conflicted with the resort music & the restaurant next door, so it became so noisy, we had to go inside a lot. Beach was pretty dirty, trash all over on the private beach but they were very strict about children/people not staying at the childfree section (security was very, very, very good).did have roaches invade my room (they came out of the wall outlets) & there were lots of drain flies, which we remedied w. a little peppermint oil. staff addressed roaches. Lots of smokers! Area around does not have great infrastructure (sewer water in the streets, crumbling sidewalks), but there are some good little restaurants and grocery stores a few blocks away.

Had a great time here. Hotel is on a really nice beach. Beach view from the room was lovely. Food was good but not exceptional. Roof top pool was really nice and great view of the beach. Rooms were a little older but nice. Had to ask for room towels which I would have thought the cleaning ladies would have left everyday. Staff was nice. Daytime bartender by the pool was exceptional. I think the price of the room was a little high but I would stay here again.

Hotel is excellent. Right on the beach, breakfast was excellent and location is amazing, will definitely come back to this hotel.

Good staff. A bit expensive for the place but it is all about Domenicana. Among other hotels it was the most reasonable. Restaurants are good. Breakfast is excellent.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this wonderful location, and I can't help but rave about my experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was nothing short of amazing. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The food was yet another highlight of our visit. Each meal was a delightful experience, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Additionally, the ambiance of the place was excellent, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment. We wish we could have extended our stay, but we are already planning to return for a longer visit soon. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway, I highly recommend this gem!
