Mint House Menlo Park by Kasa

The facilities, specification and location are all fantastic. The bed was ridiculously comfortable - we've almost never slept in such a comfortable bed. The spacious rooms and sleek decor were lovely to live around. it was ultra convenient and lovely to have such big, new washer/dryer facilities for keeping our clothes clean. The team brought clothes hangars in the second apartment we stayed in - and responded well to request for replenishment of supplies. thank you for this!! Pool and hot tub and outdoor kitchen facilities were AMAZING. Also, met lots of nice people in the building. Very welcoming environment. Very interesting people living there, lots of great conversations.

The first apartment we were placed in had sheets that looked used. There were no clothes hangars in the closet. The garbage can was hidden away in a hallway closet. Fortunately, our host moved us immediately - and we were placed in an apartment that was spotless and had clean sheets. We didn't like having only paper towels on hand for cleaning etc. Since we were paying such a premium rate, we felt having a dish cloth in the kitchen would have been a suitable touch. Also, the paper towels are not great for recycling/environment - so we felt disappointed that we had nothing to use to clean up except the paper towels.

I like the amenities and how close it was to restaurants and shops

I didn’t realize that it was right next to the railway so you will constantly here the train honking from 7am to 1am…

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! This hotel is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever visited. The pool and courtyard are amazing from its multiple firetables, grill/pizza ovens to its hottub. This is by far the nicest cleanest hotel in Palo Alto. Did i forget to mention the complimentary coffee/latte machine that uses Philz coffee beans. This property also comes equipt with a golf simulator, dog wash room and a full gym. I will be back anytime I visit the area. I would recommend to everyone!!!

Apartment & facilities were lovely - the train noise was horrendous & ruined the entire stay

Terrible property experience due to proximity to train. Even with sleeping with earplugs it wasn’t enough. Impossible to sleep with the train honking/passing by multiple times an hour even through the night. Definitely would not recommend.
