John is an amazing guy. Made us feel at home. Even cooking off the menu pizza with fresh dough! Fabulous place to stay especially with dogs. I won't stay anywhere else

The mattresses could do with a topper but it's a family business and I'm sure they will when they can

Great place - staff excellent. Food was also very good - had the Shepherds Pie - even got a small portion for the dog! The place has a lot of character.

Both the bar/restaurant were fairly dirty and the room was quite worn - but it didnt take away from the overall experience.
