Dog and castle

Clean room which was quirky giving it charm. Good friendly staff.

The Staff were amazing CJ , is absolute Amazing was always checking we are all ok in our stay, made is feel so welcome defiantly go back. Ross was the best chef , I had Mac chesses with Lobster , the best food ever :) . Cant wait to return.

Beds were comfortable, quiet though near a train line, staff were nice. Breakfast very good.

Bathroom not an acceptable standard, the stains were very old. Didn't feel we could use the bathroom. Furniture was not practical- one large piece was separated and took up too much room. Electric socket had come away from wall, bedside lamp had no socket near it. Base of beds ripped. No black out curtains

Polite and friendly staff. Kindly was upgraded so was a nice surprise. Great food! Had to pay extra for Breakfast for some reason but could not fault the high standard of food.

Room needs a little up date, but comfortable.

Very dispatch the accommodation and the fact I could not voice my concerns with anyone. The room was dirty and full of cobwebs. The shower was very basic and there was none hot water!!

Bedroom area was lovely and clean and all of the staff we came across were really friendly. The field at the back for a dog walk was great. Ample room for 3 of us and a dog whose bed fitted between the 2 beds. Good size tv and considering the Trainline is so close it was really quiet and peaceful.

The bathroom was dated. A bit lore attention to cleanliness in the bathroom also wouldn’t go amiss as limescale build up on the shower glass and tide marks around the edge of the floor etc…. Beds not overly comfy and could do with new mattresses. I understand the owners are gradually working their way through the property and upgrading as funds allow.

Great place to stay. Food is exceptional

I couldn’t fault this place! Views, staff, value for money, food in the pub, accomdation, everything was amazing! I’ll be returning!
