The food was absolutely amazing and the pub itself was so quirky. The menu very impressive especially at breakfast. Many B&Bs have simple breakfast menu but here it was amazing. Clean towels and bedding. Staff and owner very friendly and attentive.

Accommodation is vert basic, the bathrooms are very poor and dated. (Photos) We had tap fixtures missing. Bare pipes on show, and rusty radiator, No soap at all in the bathroom. The walls are very thin and they do have some permanent residents on site. The rooms are very near the main train line and they do have a cockerel that shouts 4am every day right outside the rooms. The whole site where the rooms were very cluttered with people working in sheds opposite the rooms. This may be due to renovations though.

Great quirky pub stayed in the horsebox which was lovely

Although not an issue for us there isn’t a lot of seating area in the horsebox if you are requiring this also the 4am wake up call from the cockerel but I went back to sleep so not a problem again for me hot top is lovely and private food amazing

Location easy off the A1.staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful

Shabby outdoors with lots of dogs dirt. There was one member of staff totally unhelpful on my second visit not a family member they were all great
