We had a wonderful stay all the staff were welcoming friendly and professional! we had a beautiful evening meal and an excellent breakfast. Definitely will stay again and would thoroughly recommend!

Mushrooms, ceilings are a bit low for anybody who’s tall.

The noise from the pub could be had through the rooms, so they clearly knew this and provided earplugs. not a major deal because it did finish at last orders but if you’re looking for an early night earplugs are necessary.

The breakfast was great and the bed was comfy

There was a loud noise coming from under us through the evening and early in the morning

Both welcoming and comfortable. The food is excellent - we had a fabulous dinner and breakfast.

Location to Leeds castle was brilliant. Staff really friendly and rooms are lovely and quaint.

It’s on what we thought would be a quiet(ish) village road but it’s actually fairly noisy and as the building isn’t stepped back this is noticeable. Albeit the hotel do provide ear plugs so that’s a positive. The plumbing really needs sorting. Every time you flush the toilet or shower/drain a bath there is the most horrendous loud noise. We also booked a king room but then bed we had was definitely just a double which was disappointing.

Old but very comfortable

The bathroom plumbing system is incredibly loud, it made me feel guilty for showering at 7am in case there was someone in the next room. But that’s the only slight issue in what was otherwise a really nice place to stay:

We’ve stayed here before and the staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. We take our dog and this pub is great for her. Breakfast and dinner are excellent value and the pub atmosphere is lovely. Great location just off M20, perfect stop before Channel Tunnel
