Excellent location

Our weekend at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem was excellent … the hotel and the staff never disappoint especially Jeremy on reception who sorted our problems with a missing suitcase and was so obliging as are all of the staff You get the impression that the hotel and its staff are really happy to welcome you into this iconic hotel which is steeped in tradition.. can’t wait to revisit

The location was excellent. The apartment was large, the balcony was great and the beds really comfortable. The apartment is set up for observant Jews, which made being there for Shabbat very comfortable.

The phone number provided to access the parking didn't work, but we called the number on the garage and they let us in. Also the instructions didn't specify which wing our apartment was in so it took some time finding the right elevatory to our apartment.

I had high expectations when dining at the King David Hotel’s dairy restaurant, but left disappointed. The food itself was fine, though the menu was not particularly exciting. The real issue was the portion sizes. My pasta arrived in what looked like a child’s plate, explained away as part of their “new concept.” The pizza? Barely larger than a cookie — with the same justification. To make matters worse, prices remain just as high, unchanged despite the downsized servings. It feels like a simple profit strategy: less food, same cost. For a hotel of this reputation, the experience fell far short and offered little value for money. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.

Extraordinary property well maintained. The staff was cheerful and helpful. An absolutely perfect stay at a great hotel.

Legendary hotel with amazing service. Waking up to that stunning view of the old city has been a real pleasure. My personal highlight was the Grill Room - I was seated at the bar and spent an unforgettable night with great drinks, delicious food and good company - the staff made sure that as a single traveller, I felt very welcome. If you‘re there, try the Tartar, the Denver Cut and a „Naked and Famous“.

The TV could use an upgrade. The international channels are great, but it would be nice to have a streaming service available. The WiFi also didn‘t really reach the balcony. However, these are minor details, everything was amazing.
