Beautiful hotel with stunning lake views and peaceful atmosphere Hotel Dorjes is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location with a wonderful view over the lake. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and stylish, and the breakfast was excellent – especially when enjoyed with that amazing view. In the evenings, the hotel felt a bit quiet and unanimated – there wasn’t much happening around the pool or in the restaurant, so we preferred going into town for dinner. Still, the calm atmosphere made it a very relaxing stay. Overall, a lovely and peaceful hotel with friendly staff, great comfort, and a fantastic lake view. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Pokhara!

Our stay at Dorje’s was truly outstanding. The hotel is set in the hills above Pokhara with breathtaking views over the lake — one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever experienced. The property itself is thoughtfully designed with nature in mind, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a private balcony with stunning lake views. Facilities were excellent, especially the pool area, which was perfect for relaxing. The staff went above and beyond — always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. We felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. The food was another highlight. Fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious, we ended up dining at the hotel most days. Overall, Dorje’s exceeded our expectations in every way. A perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty — we would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pokhara.

Following my trek to Annapurna Base Camp, Dorje’s Resort and Spa was exactly what I needed to relax and unwind. The room was perfect, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything I could want for a comfortable stay. The staff were outstanding, kind, supportive and caring. They anticipated my every need and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was another highlight. Every meal was beautifully prepared and served with immaculate care. The butter chicken curry with garlic naan was especially delicious. The team also organised a half day sightseeing tour for me, which made everything easy and enjoyable so I could focus on taking in the sights. The pool was beautifully maintained and felt like complete luxury after days of trekking. I also treated myself to an amazing spa experience with both a facial and massage, and the staff were highly professional, skilled and attentive, making it one of the best treatments I have ever had. What stood out most was how polite, kind and friendly all the staff were. As a solo traveller, I felt completely at ease and well cared for throughout my stay. If you are reading reviews to check the quality of Dorje’s Resort and Spa, look no further. This place offers everything you need and more for an amazing, relaxing stay in Pokhara. Breakfast excellent with varied menu every day to cater for all tastes. Lunch/dinner menu and food was delicious. Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Stunning pool and large bedrooms and huge bathroom. Staff were wonderful and went way beyond to make your stay memorable. Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I would not hesitate to book again

The property is clean, secluded and very comfortable. But most particularly, the staff is there for anything you need - even in unexpected circumstances. We stayed in early September, during the social media shut down and resulting protests in Nepal. The staff, including the owner, Dorje went out of their way to ensure our comfort and safety. They provided us feedback about safety of travel out of Pokhara and ensured us flexibility in our stay as we were unable to continue with our plans to head to Chitwan. We stayed a total of five nights and each day felt as though we were cared for and looked after. In addition, it was clear that the staff was exceptionally well looked after during this time as well - which says so much about Dorje and his respect for others. We couldn’t imagine having stayed anywhere else during this time and had felt the comfort and safety that we did. We are thankful for Dorje and the team who made this possible. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had an incredible stay at the resort, the staff were very thoughtful and took care of arranging pick up and transfers for us as we have used it as a base to trek in the Himalayas, it was the perfect oasis to rest in between travel and trekking and we are very grateful to the supportive staff! The resort was very comfortable and offered beautiful views of the lake and amazing pool and jacuzzi.

This property is perhaps the best property in Pokhra. Huge cottages and I highly recommend taking one with the balcony. It’s worth every extra penny for the upgrade. The location is spectacular as it’s right next to the cable car starting point to go to sarangkot (9min ride). We met the owners - Dorje and Jen - wonderful hosts. I have to highlight one of their staff Tilotama - who works at the reception. It’s rare to come across someone who goes so over and above the required responsibilities. She started coordinating with us a day before the arrival and arranged everything for our pickup (which is free from the airport!) to arranging our activities like paragliding and bungee jumping even though we were checking out the next day and all coordination was from the other hotel. Even after our checkout she checked in with us to make sure everything went well and if we needed any other help. This kind of customer service left us completely awed as you don’t get to see the is in 99.99% hotels. Whether one or more nights, highly recommend to include this hotel during your stay at Pokhra.
